Documentation / Agents

A place for your assistant.

Rankrook agent access is being built for ChatGPT and MCP, with authenticated site data and person-approved changes.

Your own authenticated agents

Rankrook is building a shared operation catalog for the dashboard, REST API, MCP and CLI. ChatGPT and MCP are the first agent surfaces being prioritized.

A signed-in agent acting for the site owner will be able to read that site's Rankrook SEO data, including Search Console query text. Other tenants cannot read it. Private query text never belongs in a pull request, repository, edit brief, notification or log.

An agent cannot approve for you

Connecting search engines, widening repository access and changing publishing policy require a person-confirmed action. An agent can explain the proposed change and give you the confirmation link; it cannot set a boolean to stand in for your consent.

Reading stored data does not start a crawl, model run or paid research call. Runs are separate operations with limits and a recorded cost.

Not a public endpoint yet

Agent authentication, MCP and the ChatGPT connection are still in development. No public installation link, endpoint URL or directory listing is offered here. This page will carry exact setup instructions after host acceptance is verified.

For now, read the search-connection prompt and the permissions it assumes.
